Directions
By Road:
Northbound: Follow the A14 towards Felixstowe; take the next turning directly after Junction 58, signposted ‘Kirton, Brightwell & Bucklesham’. Follow Innocence Lane and bear left onto Brightwell Rd. Stay on Brightwell Rd through Bucklesham village and the bike park entrance will be on the right. Alternatively you can leave at junction 58 and then follow the A12 to Foxhall roundabout, take the 3rd turning signposted ‘Waldringfield, Newbourne, Bucklesham, Brightwell’ followed by the next right into Brightwell Road to the bike park. Please do not follow your sat nav via J.58 through Bucklesham village via the lane, the above directions are safer for drivers due to avoiding the narrow lane at Junction 58 and also ensures a friendly relationship between the bike park and local residents of the area.
Southbound via A12: Follow the A12 signposted ‘Ipswich, Colchester’. At Foxhall roundabout take the first left, signposted ‘Bucklesham, Brightwell, Newbourn, Waldringfield’. Take the next right into Brightwell Rd, signposted ‘Brightwell, Bucklesham, Kirton’. Continue down Brightwell Rd and teh park entrance will be on your left. If you enter Bucklesham village you have gone too far and missed the turning.
By Train:
The nearest train stations to the bike park are either Ipswich or Woodbridge train station. Ipswich station is a mainline station and a 38 minute ride to the bike park via Bucklesham Rd, and Woodbridge station just under a 30 minute ride.
